Show LIONS HAVE GUESTS AT NOON LUNCHEON Professor J. E. Hickman, of Logan, ' and his son, J. E. Hickman, Jr., were guests of the Lions club at lunch Wednesday Wed-nesday noon at the Milford Hotel. Other guests were Myrtle M. Colaw and Mr. Aldredge, who will manage the production of a Follies show here, and the Misses Lygia Fredrickson and Ella Rossiter, of the Telluride Power Company. Professor Hickman, in a short talk, stated that he was so much impressed with the perpetual water rights of Milford Valley, together with its perpetual market for agricultural products, that 'he had purchased a 160-acre farm near here, and if all went well, he hoped to secure more acreage here next year. Miss Colaw explained her mission as regards the "Follies" production, which calls for complete management, manage-ment, directing and outfitting a show of fifty men playing women's parts, j The Lions voted to put on the show, and left details up to the Pep committee. com-mittee. Before adjournment, President Jos. R. Murdock appointed Karl S. Carlton, Carl-ton, Sam Cline, and Lee Brown as a nominating committee - to nominate club officers for the coming fiscal year. |
