Show ST. GEORGE HAS A CHRISTMAS RODEO (The following item is copied from 'he St. George paper and relates to their annual Christmas rodeo.) Cheyenne and Pendleton may have their quota of bucking horses, wild cattle and western atmosphere, but they will have nothing on St. George for real entertainment for three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, De-3ember De-3ember 26, 27 and 28. Cowboys from eastern Nevada and parts of southern Utah will be here to display their feats of daring and skill. Three full days of entertainment, roping, riding rid-ing and buldogging in the forenoon and races in the afternoon, interspersed inter-spersed with exhibitions of riding, will thrill the spectators who come here for the third annual race meet. This added feature was made certain cer-tain Tuesday night when the chamber cham-ber commerce arangede with A. H. Lovlady, Sam Radliff, Fred Thomas and P. D. Morris to put on the rodeo show. These men are experienced and have won prizes in rodeos and have successfully conducted shows throughout Arizona. They promise something far above average. It is the plan to start the rodeo events in the morning and run them off by noon, call the first race at 1 p. m., instead of 2 as formerly and run in riding exhibitions between races. |
