Show o BEAVER WOMAN DIES IN SALT LAKE CITY Cedaressa C. Shepherd, a resident of Beaver from early childhood, pass-away pass-away at the home of her son, Dr. Warren G. Shepherd, in Salt Lake City, Friday night at about ten o'clock. The remains were brought to Beaver Sunday where funeral services ser-vices and interment took place Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Mrs. Shepherd had been an invalid inva-lid for a number of years. The past winter she had been spending with her son in Salt Lake City and was preparing to return to her home in Beaver when stricken. Cedaressa Catherine Cartwright was born in Cedar City, May 9, 1852, i the daughter of Thomas and Jane Cartwright. When a small child her parents moved to Beaver, where the deceased grew to womanhood and married Marcus L. Shepherd. Four sons and three daughters blessed this union, all of whom, with the exception excep-tion of one son, Warren G., preceded preced-ed their mother to the great beyond. The husband died a number of years ago.. Funeral services at the L. D. S. chapel in Beaver Sunday afternoon were conducted by Bishop W. W. Farrer and largely attended by loving lov-ing relatives and friends from Milford Mil-ford and other towns as well as Beaver. |
