Show yj PUTTING SOUTHERN UTAH ON THE MAP Southern Utah has received thousands of dollars in the best kind of advertising during the past year through the efforts of the Civic Clubs Association, at a very insignificant cost. At- a meeting held in Cedar Ciy Saturday evening, a report was made showing that during the past few months full-page illustrated writeup and rotogravure pages of the marvels of southern Utah had appeared in twenty-eight of the leading city dailies over the United States. These write-up and pictures published had cost the association less than one thousand dollars to prepare the copy, and based on the advertising rates charged by such publications in which they appeared, it is safe to estimate that a strictly advertising ad-vertising campaign of a like amount of publicity could not have been purchased at less than $150,000. This is just one of the many accomplishments of the Southern South-ern Utah Civic Clbs Association. It demonstrates that in cooperation coop-eration of several counties, greater results may be obtained than any one single county or organization could hope to accomplish. In this work the association should have the support, morally and financially ,of every individual and tax-payer in the county. It is your organization, if you live in Southern Utah, and it is you who will benefit by the unselfish labor and time that the association is giving for the up-building of this great southern empire. f |
