Show SALT LAKE PEOPLE GET SIDEWALK JOB --BID WAS $10,575 MIXING CEMENT FOR TWO MILES OF WALK BEGAN THIS WEEK Mullins and Wheeler, a contracting firm of Salt Lake City, was the successful suc-cessful bidder on the tow sidewalk improvements with a bid of 10,575.00. Work was started Monday and cement was being poured Wednesday. The job includes a little over ton j thousand lineal feet of sidewalks, all in the south part of town. The-rap- I acity for work by the contractors, Mr. j Mullins said, was about 3500 square j feet per day. Providing measure- ineiit.i and lines are given soon enough, he stated that the work would be done and the contractors out of town in twenty days. The firm is unable to get men here to round out as big a crew as they need, they say, and are forced to go out of town to hire labor. They will have a crew of about 27 or 28 men.
