Rose Mickleson left Tuesday for a few days in Salt Lake City. George R. Richins of the D & B gang left for Lynndyl this week. We learn as we go to press that Mrs. L. G. Clay is much improved. The Baxter orchestra- played at Minersville Saturday night for a dance. Maxine Puffer of Adamsville, was operated on for appendicitis at the local hospital this week. Peter S. Couchis has moved to Mil-ford Mil-ford from Black Rock to spent a month or two. Ed Mix, cousin of the famous Tom Mix o fthe screen, spent a day or two he.ro last week. Len Sarenson of Gunnison and H. Neilson of Manti were, here looking in their sheep business. Mrs. A. Thomson spent the, weekend week-end visiting with her husband, Road-master Road-master Thomson. Stella Hollis made a pleasure trip to Richfield this week with her school chum, Theresa Southam. Billie Haskell, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Haskell, who fell off a horse sometime ago, is able to be about on crutches. Private booth have been installed ;n the Paris Beauty Parlors which geatly improves the conveniences of the customers. Wanda Meyers, who was injured at school while at play, was taken to the Salt Lake hospital this week for treatment. Harold Cline is hobbling about on crutches having slipped on the ice Tuesday evening, badly spraining his ankle. Geo. Beach and son were in Mil-ford Mil-ford Tuesday en route to his famous ranch at Baker. They were retrun-ing retrun-ing from Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Nolan and family fam-ily of Caliente, Nev., have moved in the Mrs. Dan Ferguson home on. the hill. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell are nicely located on McKeon Ave. and center street, the former home of Clarence Lewis. Nina Patterson, who has been clerking in the J. C. Penney store for the past few months, is spending her vacation with her parents in South Milford. Katherine Hendrickson is a patient at the Milford hospital, suffering with pneumonia. She is reported to be improving. Milton Pool and C. J. Hamel made a business trip to Salt Lake City Tuesday, returning the following day. Catherine Lents returned home from a two months trip spent in Salt Lake City and Calif. She is employed em-ployed at the U. P. dining room. Harry Livergood left the first of the week for Salt Lake City to attend the Gist Annual Communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Utah. J. C. Whitaker, jr. of Salt Lake City, spent the past week in Milford. Mr. Whitaker is largely connected with the sheep business of Whitaker brothers. Mrs. John Ryan and daughter have returned from Salt Lake City. They stopped off for a few days visiting vis-iting friends here before going out to their ranch at Burbank. Vic Showalter and John Dodds of Panguitch, and Ed Blackham of Eph-raim Eph-raim were in Milford this week looking look-ing after their sheep interests. Vern Rochek is working out of Cedar City now. |
