Show W. BURBANK DIES AT SEATTLE HOME Relatives at Burbank, Utah, received receiv-ed word of the death, Friday, May 8, of Willard Burbank, at his . residence in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Burbank formerly lived at Blackrock and has many friends and acquaintances in Milford throughout Utah. He was born in Newton Center, Massachusetts, Mas-sachusetts, November 18, 1850 and was a pioneer in Hamilton, Nevada in its boom days, and later one .of the early settlers of Sanke Valley, Utah. He was a civil engineer by profession, profes-sion, and was connected with the early history of the building of the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad at its western west-ern terminals. He was a member of the I. O. 6. F. Caton, having joined the Milford lodge before moving to Seattle where he has lived since 1907. Surviving himi are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Raht Burbank, his daughter, Mrs. Bert Scott, and three gradchild-ren, gradchild-ren, of Seattle; two sisters, Mrs. E. W. Clay and Mrs. L. S. Schumacher of Burbank; nephews, Fred Schumacher, L. G. Clay, B. G. Clay of Milford and Burbank. |
