Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS Marion Bowman was over from Cedar City on New Year's day. Mrs. Robt. Bonner ,of Nada, was a Milford visitor last Thursday. C. G. Johnson of Pleasant Grove was here on Saturday. J. V. Reynolds spent New Year's in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Nichols moved Saturday to the Fouts property. Mrs. Ethel Hickman spent New Year's with her mother in Beaver. A. Thompson the roadmaster was with us this week. R. H. Pitchforth was here Saturday Satur-day and Sunday. R. H. Nelson returned Tuesday from a business trip to Los Angeles. Neil Boyter was here from Beaver for a number of days this week. Max Taylor and Jean Poulson of Provo were here Wednesday. Stanley Domgard of Salina was here Monday. Eugene White of Nada spent Sunday Sun-day here. John Williams returned Sunday to his studies at the U. S. A. C. at Logan. Lo-gan. Mr .and Mrs. William Tribole left Monday for a few days' visit with '.'rlatives in Long Keach, C-lif. A. L. Cook, spervisor of the Safeway Safe-way Stores in this section was here Saturday taking inventory. LeRoy Puffer, R. C. Murdock and Dr. J. E. Parker were over from Beaver Tuesday. Lorin Osbom, who has been in Park City for several months, returned re-turned to Milford last week. Mrs. John P'. Langenbacker left Tuesday fir Salt Loke Cicy f -r a few days' visit. Carlton Culmsee of Nada was here Monday enroute to his school in Provo. Ela Haliday of Pleasant Grove spent the week end here, the guest of Agent Jockson. (Mr. and Mrs. B. Smith and Mrs. Asa L. Baker of Baker, Nevada spent Saturday and Sunday here. Mrs. Geo. Goodwin, of Beaver, spent last Thursday in Milford, the guests of friends. Dallas McNeil of Denver, Colorado spent a few days in Milford this past week. Miss Marian Schroeder returned the latter part of the week from a short visit in Salt Lake. Arthur Connell and fatndy, have moved here from Las Vegas to make their home, and will reside in the Carter property. Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Sportsman, of Cedar City, were guests at the Jay C. JefTers home Thursday until Saturday. Satur-day. Don F. Sutton who is connected with the Radio station here, returned yesterday from a 10 days vacation in California. Floyd Atkin of Tooele was here Sunday and Monday on business matters and visiting his cousin, Mrs. A. J. Atkin. Harry Smurthwaite returned to his home in Salt Lake City Sunday, after spending the holidays with his sister sis-ter Mrs. Geo. Jefferson, and friends. Mrs. Fred McKay was hostess to a party of friends Sunday evening. Refreshments were served and an enjoyable evening spent. Miss Mary Richards left during the holidays for Los Angeles to spend the winter with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Tait. Mrs. A. J. Raines, efficient clerk at the local postoiTice, has been confined con-fined to her home a few days this week by illness. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Luken, who are spending the winter; in Salt Lake City, spent the holidays in Milford visiting friend s and looking after their ranch interests. Miss Beth Coleman, who has been j spending the holidays with her par-! par-! ents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Coleman, returned re-turned to her school work in Salt Lake Sunday. Fred Levi returned the latter part of last week from Salt Lake City where he recently submitted to an operation. . He is feeling much im-J im-J proved, but .ti!I somewhat weak. |
