Brooks and daughter Dorothy of Lehi, were here visiting friends. Mrs. F. Moss who has been a house guest at the W. G. White home the last two weeks left Wednesday for her home in Calif. The Misses Elva and Itha Skinner returned home Sunday form McGill, Nevada where they have been visiting with their sister Mrs. Lyman Speak-man Speak-man the past six weeks. D. S. McKendrick spent a couple of clays in Milford. Miss Christine Johnson, of Lynndyl, and H. H. Phelps spent Sunday in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. P. K. Dotson, Mr. and Mrs. Fine Dotson and Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Dotson, formerly of Minersville, but now of Los Angeles, spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday around Milford. C. N. All concerned doing fine. iF. F. Engles, a Los Angeles business busi-ness man, visited in Milford this past week. G. T. Hemphill, of Fort Worth, Texas, Tex-as, was here this week. John M. Caffeen left for Los Angeles Ange-les Tuesday to bring his family to reside re-side here permanently. Lyman Speakman and family of McGill, Nevada, spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of her father Austin Skinner and sister Mrs. L. F. Kohler. Lorin A. Robinson came down from Lynndyl and spent a few days with his family. ' Miss Adrain Root of Las Vegas, Nevada, is here visiting her dad and grandparents. Miss Audrey Raines returned home Friday from Garrison where she has been a guest of Miss Thelma Richardson. Richard-son. Mrs. Dan Ferguson and son Dan were guests at the home of Mrs. John Holms Friday at a chicken dinner. V Mr. and Mrs. Wm. White, Mrs. Freda Fre-da Moss of Bellflower, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Langenbacker and S. O. i Russey left for a trip thru the parks, also enjoyed a fishing trip. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon C. Johnson arrived from Hollywood, California Monday. Mrs. Johnson has not visited visit-ed Milford for about two years, and her friends are greatly pleased over her visit to Milford Mrs. W. H. Hendrickson and two daughters have returned from a visit in Salt Lake City and Eureka. Miss Lucile Franke left here Sunday Sun-day noon for the Salt Lake teachers institute. After spending several days with her people at Rocky Ford Dam Miss Franke visited California, th( Southern Parks and in Salt Lake previous pre-vious weeks of the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Johnson of Calif., were calling on old friends the first of the week. Karl S. Carlton and wife were down from Beaver Wednesday. Mrs. W. G. White, Mrs. F. Moss, J. I. Curry and S. Mrs. Tom Bettridge and baby, and mother Mrs. Turly of Caliente are visitors vis-itors at the Arlie Stoddard home a few days, then going to Minersville for a brief stay. Geo. Whornhaml and family, of Delta, were here shopping Tuesday. Miles White, of the local Telluride office, has been nursing a badly sprained and slightly fractured ankle, caused when he jumped from a moving mov-ing automobile. The injury is improving im-proving and he hopes to discard his crutches in a few days. |
