TEMPERATURE SENDS THE MERCURY DOWN 1 Freezing weather was reported In ;he valley Wednesday night. Beaver county is not alone in backward spring weather however, as it seems to be general all over the country. We have been fortunate enough to have dodged some of the blizzards and snows which struck northern Utah just prior to Easter, while the Middle West has suffered with freezes and one or two heavy snows. Crops in the valley will undoubtedly undoubted-ly be late this season, as farmers have held off planting until they; could be assured that the weather was i settled. .
