Show OFFICIAL INFORMATION ABOUT SCHOOLS We are informed authoritatively by O. A. Andersonj member of the Board of Education, that the Board has decided to run the Grade Schools until May 5th, and the High Schools until May 19th. Mr. Anderson permits us to give this publicity over the signature of the Board of Education. : A Mexican by the name of Juan Ruls had to have his right arm amputated, am-putated, following an injury received re-ceived last Saturday; It is supposed that In some manner either In getting get-ting off a train or slipping, or in some unknown manner, he fell onto the track so that wheels of the the train passed over his arm. J. A. Melville, Sr., spent a part of the week in Delta on business. A big cattle sale occurred in Delta on Tuesday the 31st) whch brought a number of cattle-buyers, from as far east as Omaha, Into Delta. Jos. Nielson of Leamington visited visit-ed Delta this week. Maurice Keating, General Manager Mana-ger of the Western Seed Growers Marketing Association was in Delta and region on Sunday. Mrs. Turner wishes The Chronicle to announce that she is not to move from her present location on Clark Street, and that her trade may continue con-tinue to find her at the same loca-ton loca-ton until further notice.
