Show GOOD SEED NEWS Peppard Seed Co. inform their trade through a news letter that they have received approximately eight hundred thousand pounds of alfalfa seed to date; that they have shipped one car to California, and another car will go forward this week in the other direction, the second one being billed to Wisconsin. Imported seed is being offered on Atlantic seaboard points at less than Utah seed can be placed there at present values. This firm, says, while not attempting to forecast future prices, "The prices at which seed will move this spring depend de-pend largely on the imported offered, and the money-Siva-llle lo eastern buyers as to what prices they can resell re-sell the product to planters."
