Show DIED The following item is copied from the American Fork Citizen. Mr. and Mrs. Shatter were residents of Delta before they left for American Fork. Cleone, the ten weeks old . baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shatter died Tuesday afternoon after an illness of four days of bronchial-pnuemonia. bronchial-pnuemonia. She was born here April 19, 1922, and is survived by her parents par-ents and three small brothers. ' Funeral services were held Thursday Thurs-day morning with Bishop Earl S. Greenwood in charge. The opening prayer was offered by Leo T. Shelley,, Shell-ey,, and the benediction by Bishop Greenwood. Music was furnished by a quartette consistoing of Ann Chip-man, Chip-man, Mrs. Delbert Chipman, Nina Halliday and LeRee Chipman. The speakers were Bishop Greenwood and Mr. Shelley. Interment was made in the local cemetery where Bishop Greenwood dedicated the grp.ve. Friends of Mrs. Allen Searle will regret to learn of her death, which occurred in Salina Tuesday morning at six. Mr. and Mrs. Searle lived In Delta about three years ago and have many friends here as well as relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson, step-father and mother of Mr. Searle, and three sisters, Mrs. Leonard Brod-erlck, Brod-erlck, Mrs. Sadie Shiner and Mrs. J. P. Folmer, and Mrs. John Peterson Jr. left Tuesday evening to attend the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Searle were wired at Fish Lake and they will leavo for Salina at once. Mrs. Scarle's relatives reside at Salina. Sa-lina. Misses Illythe Pace and Vivian Lis. onbee entertained at a surprise lawn party Tuesday evening complimentary compliment-ary to Miss Alice Rasmussen at her home. Refreshments were served to twelve. Miss Rasmussen will leave the latter part of the week to spend a few weeks with her sister at Monroe. Mon-roe. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Campbell and daughters, Misses Nola and Daisy, o; Widstoe, returned Monday after spending a week here visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Steele. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lyman rnd fam. ily left Tuesdaly for Mantl, where they will spend their summer vacation vaca-tion with friends. Mr. r.nd Mrs. Polhort Searle and family lefi Monday for Fi?h Lake on an outing. Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Reynolds of Salt Lake City are visiting in Delta this week. Mr. J. C. Tanner of Beaver 13 in Delta for a few days on business. |
