Show 110! TO FILLMORE 1 111 KSDAY, THE 2Hh We copy the following, which ap-)eared ap-)eared In Fillmore in the form of a handbill Monday or this week: mass mi:i;tix; At tin' I'.iiaiiMiunl Next Thursday. Due to dissatisfaction among many ma-ny citizens as to the manner in which county road money is being spent and the location where this expenditure expendi-ture is being made, a Mass Meeting is culled to tak,'- place at the Paramount Para-mount Theater Thursday, Feb. 24fh. The meeting- will commence promptly prompt-ly at 9:00 p. m. As the picture show will be over before this time, it will not be necessary to attend the show to be present at this important meeting. meet-ing. As good citizens it is your duty to be present. This is one of the most important issues that has faced us for some time.. ' (Then follows, below the above, the week's program of the Paramount Theater.) A call Is made that five or six auto loads of our men from the west side go to Fillmore and defend the issue from our point of view. What they are aiming at over in Fillmore is, of course, a political blow, and with the removal of a road commissioner favorable to Delta and environs no money would be spent on the west side. Let us go over, as many as can, at least twenty-five strong, and be there there Is much work to be done. |
