Show Alfalfa Seed Display Ready UTAH PRODUCT WILL BE SENT TD INTERNATIONAL GRAIN SHOW AT CHICAGO. One and one-half tons of Utah alfalfa and red clover seed, grains and corn wil leave Salt Lake City about November 18th for Chicago, where It will be entered In the International In-ternational Hay and Grain show, an annual exposition held in conjunction conjunc-tion with the International Livestock show. Final details of the plan for showing this Utah seed at Chicago were outlined at a meeting of the seed show committee at the Utah gtate Farrn bureau ofices yesterday. Practically a.11 seed samples from, whlph the exhibits are being prepared, prepar-ed, have reached Salt Lake and the entries are being asembled at the ptate capltol under the direction of frgf. George Stewart, agronomist at the Utah Agricultural college, and B, H, Smith, an expert seed show jnan, who has been doing the field work. Prof. Stewart and Mr. Smith will accompany the Utah exhibit to Chicago, The seed committee yesterday acted act-ed favorably upon the rquest of the Ogden ohamber of commerce to have the seed exhibit loaned to Ogden for display during the Ogden livestock show, A letter from Jasae Richards, secretary of the Ogdon chamber and manager of tho livestock show, was read before tho committee. Mr. Richards Rich-ards said Ogden was Interested in encouraging the seed industry of Utah and would invite Idaho seed-men, seed-men, through C. B. Ahlson, Idaho seed commissioner, to prepare an exhibit ex-hibit of Idaho seeds to bo placed alongside tho Utah assortment at the livestock show. It is the plan of tho Ogden show management to provide a seefl department each year.
