Show Sutherland Searchlight Bishop and Mrs. Jackson have returned re-turned from Salt Lake City, where they have been for the last week. They say they are glad to be back, as it was quite stormy there. - Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Gee have returned re-turned from Mt. Pleasant, where they went to attend the funeral of their little granddaughter, who died from the effects of drinking lye water. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Henrle had the misfortune to lose their newborn child, which died after living only two hours. Funeral services were held, Thursday, at the family home. The Jolly Stitchers met with Mrs. Hedge and Mrs. Owens last Friday afternoon. A very pleasant time was spent, althongh the weather was very Inclement. The L. D. S. Mutual Improvement association celebrated Mother's Day Sunday evening with an appropriate program, which waa enjoyed by a large audience. Mrs. Botsford from Kearney,' Neb., waa in Sutherland last week looking after her Interests here. |
