Show Death of a New Resident Death visited the home of one of our new and highly respected settlers last Tuesday evening and took away one of its members, mem-bers, L. Arnold who recently came here from San Diego, Cal., with his son, CM. and wife, who cently purchased a place near Abraham, but who are for the present living just west of town. Mr. Arnold was about fifty four years of age and was very low with Bright's disease when he arrived, coming here for his health. His affliction, however, had obtained too great a hold on him and climate and water were of no avail. At this time arrangements for interment have not bgen perfected, but a daughter daugh-ter is expected today from California Cali-fornia after which they will be arranged, burial taking place in the Delta cemetery. We are all sorry to learn of Mr. Arnold's death and the sympathy of the community-goes out to the sorrowing' sor-rowing' ones left to mojrn their loss. |
