Show will be one of the best years, it, has ever had. So a student who is ambitious to be something in the world and make for hnii-self hnii-self a name that he will be proud to bear, should come to the Academy Acad-emy and prove yourself to be a progressive citizen. The District school also is in session with a corps of eight teachers. The line up is as follows: fol-lows: A. I. Tippetts, principal, Mr. Beale, Miss Mackleprang. Miss Cropper, Miss Sheperd.Miss Leigh, Miss Robinson, and Miss Mattie Stephenson, We also think we can highly recommend our teachers in the District school. The two modern cottages belonging be-longing to J. S. Blake, pre going up rapidly. One of them is near completion and the other has the studding up. A number of men with their Fresno scrapers and other implements imple-ments have gone out in West Delta to help construct the railroad rail-road that will come into the town of Hinckley. This will be a great resource, helping to build up our community and bring in more settlers. Messrs. Wilford Hilton, John Greener, John Wright and Marvin Mar-vin Moody have gone to attend College at the A. C. Eugene Hilton and Laverna Wright have gone to college at the B. Y. TJ. We have an up-to date meat-market meat-market in iHinckley, and only hope it has come to stay. Hinckley took many first and second prizes in Art needle work at the Co. fair. Mrs John T. Caine is hare visiting with her sister Mrs. Dean F. Peterson. - Herman Smith, who spent last summer in Hinckley and made many friencs, among the base ball boys especially, was here one day of the fair, Friday, visiting Dr. and Mrs. Broaddus. An adults' Bible study class made up of newcomers to Hinckley, Hinck-ley, has been organized and is meeting with Mrs. Ben Wilson at the Nielson house, Sunday afternoons. The officers elected are Mrs. Neeley, Pres., Mrs., Nielson, vice, president, Mr. Neeley, Sec. and Treas. and Mr. Nielson, teacher. A number of committies were also appointed.
