Show MILLARD HIGH SCHOOL NOTES. V. F. Day Interested the students In assembly lust week by narrating the woman suffrage movement from the time of Its beginning in England up to the present time. The girls of the tecortd year Domestic Domes-tic Science class are doing some very splendid work. On Wednesday evening even-ing last they served a typical Thanksgiving Thanks-giving dinner to ten of the citizens. We were dismissed on Wednesday with the remark from one of the teachers teach-ers that we would have no more school that week, "so that we could all eat a good Thanksgiving dinner," he said, but hoped we would he able to come buck on Monday, We hoped so, too. Debates and plays seem to be occupying occu-pying the minds of a great number of the students and we look forward to ' some very pleasant times. New students are still coming into school. 1 Mr. F. E. Stott occupied the assembly assem-bly period last week, talking on acquisition, acqui-sition, assimilation and reproduction as related to our school life. The choir under E. K. Daasqtt Is do-1 do-1 veloplng rapidly. They will favor the public with some of their splendid pieces between reels In the picture show Dec. 6th. Christmas is coming as vouched by the spicy smells coming from the domestic do-mestic science laboratory nowadays. Miss Prudence Carllng gave a vocal solo In student body meeting on Tues-day Tues-day last. |
