You did just right in refusing to enter into that sort of "fun," and I have no doubt some of the boys and girls in their hearts really admired you for the stand you took; but I know it is hard to be the only one to uphold the standard and I consider that you were a very brave girl to do it. You will be laughed at of course, just because you are different, differ-ent, but you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are doing as your mother would have you do and as your own conscience tells you, and in the fulure you will have cause to be very thankful for having taken this course.
