Melvin Wilson, who with his father F. M. Wilson formerly resided on the North Tract, is here for a few days looking after their farm. Mrs. R. R. Betz went to Clear Lake last Sunday where she will spend the next two weeks with Mr. Betz who is temporarily filling the position of agent at that station. The heavy rain we experienced experienc-ed Sunday morning from midnight mid-night on to about eight in the morning and the showers of Monday and Tuesday night did an immeasurable amount of good to the fall grain, ground and roads, and seems to have extended extend-ed over a good portion of the state. James Douglas, manager of the Mammoth Suitorium, was dpwn from Mammoth last Mon day and Tuesday looking after business in his line.
