S. congressman from the first district comprising all the counties in Utah with the exception ex-ception of Salt Lake, Utah, Tooele and Dais, whi h cxmtie comprise the second Congressional Congression-al district. Mr. Hoyt's long residence in Utah, which has been practically pract-ically all his life, and his close study of the matters he has come in contact with, fit him well for both Irts profession as a land attorney and as a congressman, congress-man, should he win the race this fall. On account of his attention to duty and his wide knowledge of forestry and general gen-eral land affairs he was called to Washington and -gave valuable service in the general offices. Later he accepted the respon sible position of Assistant district dis-trict forester with headquarters at Ogden. This position has led him to almost all sections of this and adjoining states and has given him an intimate knowledge know-ledge of both people and condi-tionsrtherein condi-tionsrtherein and fitted him admirably ad-mirably for the position he is now seeking. In a recent edition of the Ogden Standard he is given credit for many of the advanced regulations of the Forestry Dept. which .have taken place in the last few years. It would be well for the voter to give him considerable consideration between now and next election as he will undoubtedly un-doubtedly be one of the powerful power-ful factors for U.
