Show Mines to the North Offers Outlet To Farmers J. H. Turner was in from his mine on Deseret mountain Wednesday Wed-nesday making preparations to begin the hauling of ore from the mine and construction of a road from the edge of the North Tract to the mine. The ore will be hauled to Sugarville and loaded load-ed on the cars there, and there will be f3ur other mines in that part of the country which will soon begin hauling ore to Sugai-ville. Sugai-ville. The mines are already employing some men and teams from the North Tract on their properties and when they get under full headway there will be work for a good many others. Mr. Turner says a number of the farmers who live along the road north from Sugarville are Hooding the road so that it is now impossible for the ore teams to travel them. This should be stopped as it is neither right or economy to keep spilling water on the roads. There are some very promising promis-ing properties out in the Drum district and with the proper encouragement en-couragement from the people of the valley, they will be rapidly developed and furnish a ready market for a considerable amount of produce and ' labor and spend a large amount of money in the Delta country. Mr. Turner is soliciting the help and cooperation of all who will be benefitted by the opening up of the mines in helping to build and keep the roads out in that country in good shape, and he should have all the aid and encouragement the people of the North Tract, Delta and other North business men can give him. |
