Show Mrs. Win. Walsh. About twenty ; five guests were present. A very pleasant evening was spent and a good old-fashioned "chicken roast" supper served. Thursday afternoon Mrs. Alice j Childs and the girls of the 5t.h, I 1'ith, 7th, and 8th grades entertained enter-tained their mothers in the Ue-iief Ue-iief hall. A short program was given and the needle work done this winter by this class in Domestic Do-mestic Science and Art work, was exhibited, followed by a supper sup-per served in courses by the girl, consisting of dishes prepared pre-pared at the cooking school classes class-es held in the homes of the girls the past winter. Mrs. Childs is a very capable and enthusiastic teacher and the mothers appreciated apprec-iated the good work done by her. Each mother was presented with a white silk carnation. Decorations Decora-tions were carnations and potted plants. At the close of the exercise ex-ercise Mrs. Childs was presented with a set of silver ware as a small token of high esteem from her domestic science girls. Friday afternoon the Home Economics Ass'n held its regular session. Talks on sanitation of milk took up the afternoon. Potato Po-tato and tomato soups were demonstrated. dem-onstrated. Mrs. Chas. Memmott is visiting visit-ing in Bingham. O. L. Thompson took a trip to Dayton, Ohio, last week returning return-ing with his son Orvil, who has given up missionary labors on account of poor health. ' Lillian Thompson has returned from the A. C. U. at Logan, where she has been a student since Christmas. Milton Moody, Attorney Melville Mel-ville and a Mr. Cottrel, representatives repre-sentatives of the Consolidated Sevier Bridge Reservoir company are here from Delta negotiating with several parties for lands expected ex-pected to be covered soon by reservoir res-ervoir water. Gazette, Gunnison. Scipio Sallies Mrs. M. Staples of Ogden, who spent the. past three months with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Robins, has returned home. Agnes Esklund is visiting'. in Salina. Anna Peterson of Marysvale, is on a five week's visit with her parents, Mr. " .and Mrs. Carl Peterson. Mrs. Ida Robins has returned from Salina where she spent the past seven weeks. Mr. Rees, who underwent an operation for ' appendicitis, in February, has returned to his school duties, much to the delight de-light of his pupils. Joshua Rowley has sold his farm to Robins Bros., and left on Saturday for his future home in Fillmore. We are sorry to lose them as citizens here but wish them success in their new home.
