Stewart returned' from Salt Lake Sunday, after visiting with relatives for the past two weeks. Theodore Wambold, after harvesting har-vesting the crops on his tYo places here, has returned to his home at Los Angeles. C. J. Ludwig, who has been here looking after his farm during dur-ing the summer, has returned to his home at Campbell, Cali., for the winter. Allen of Los Angeles, who have been here making pi-oof on their Carey-act farm just east of Sug-arville, Sug-arville, left for their home last Monday evening. Ed Bunker and family have returned from Eden, Idaho, Where they went a couple of months ago, and are living in their residence just west of Kil-pack's Kil-pack's barber shop. J. W. Walton, who has been in Delta most of the time during the summer looking after his farm here, returned to his home at Riverside, Cali., last Friday where he will remain during the winter. On account of the shortage of cars at present we are unable to get our car of potatoes here. But later Mr. Melville expects to go to Idaho and select a car of the best seed potatoes. Melville and Searle. Leo Lyman is erecting a modern mod-ern six-roomed residence of gray pressed brick, in bungalow style. The house will be of the most modern design and equipped equip-ped with the latest conveniences and will have a large basement. Carl and Leon Rogers, sons of R. M. Rogers, Delta's cement block manufacturer, came down from Salt Lake, where they have been doing contracting, the last of last week and will help Mr. Rogers, who has more work than he is able to handle. R. C. Bates, our efficient local agent at the Salt Lake Route station, left the last of last week for his old home in Michigan where he will join his wife, who has been visiting in the east for some time, and they will put in another month visiting after which they will return to Delta. Albert Leuthaeuser of St. Lib-ory, Lib-ory, Neb., who has a nice farm on the North Tract and who is well known, having been in the hog buying business here, arrived ar-rived in Delta Monday and will remain here for a month or more looking after his interests. Mr. Leutheauser says crops in Nebraska Neb-raska are very unsatisfactory this season. PLOWING AND RAILING: Let us figure on your railing and plowing. We will gladly furnish furn-ish estimates. .
