Latest Returns Give Wilson 433 Eleo torsi Votes, Roosevelt 77 and President Pres-ident Tsft 8, While California Is Still In Doubt. Revised election returns show that Wilson has carried the state of Idaho by a few votes. The exact vote will not be known until the official canvass can-vass Is made. With the addition of the four Idaho lectors to the Democratic column, Wilson and Marshall will have 43a electoral votes, Itoosevclt W), while President Taft will have but 8, the four votes from Utah and four from Vermont While California has been conceded to Roosevelt the final count may give the electoral vote of that state to Wilson. Should California go fot Wilson the figures would be: Wilson, 416: Roosevelt, 77; Taft, 8. The official canvassing board of Ada county, Idaho, completed its task Tuesday. It showed: Taft 3,198; Wilson, 2,569. Custer county. Democratic, will give Wilson a majority of 300 votes, while Adams county, normally Democratic, Dem-ocratic, will probably give Taft a majority ma-jority or less than 100, leaving Wilson a net gain of 200. The fact that the returns In both those counties are locked up In the ballot boxes without being made public, pub-lic, prevents their publishment until the official canvas. Returns Tuesday night from all ex cept five precincts of 4.372 In the state of California, Including those reported to be official returns from 35 of the 68 counties, gave Woodrow Wilson a plurality plu-rality of 24 votes. These returns show majorities for Roosevelt la sixteen counties and for Wilson in forty-two counties. Roosevelt began the evening with a load of 68. Then the returns gave Wilson Wil-son an advantage of 15. The next change showed Roosevelt ahead by 10, and the latest give the state to Wilson Wil-son by a lead of 24. Figures compiled at the Progressive Progres-sive headquarters late Tuesday night were taken by Progressive leaders to Indicate that Roosevelt's ultimate plurality plu-rality would finally be between 300 and 400, and claims to this effect were made.
