Show Holden Happenings We are having Xmas weather now, the ground is covered with snow and frost. Several of our citizens, the correspondent cor-respondent included, attended the Farmers' and House-keepers' Convention at Delta and much good was derived from the many lectures. Friday night the M. I. A. gave a model dance demonstration. A very good time was had by all present. The friends of Miss Gladys Bennett gave her a bundle shower show-er at her mothers home Saturday Satur-day night. The evening was spent in games, and delicious refreshments re-freshments were served. Miss Bennett will be married to Wallace Wal-lace Woodbury of Hinckley, in the Salt Lake Temple Dec. 22. We extend our hearty congratulations congrat-ulations to the young couple. The students are enjoying their two weeks' holidays. The teachers of the District School, are in Salt Lake attending attend-ing the convention- On Dee. 28th, the Old People of the ward will be entertained with a program, banquet and dance. The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Stevens, is seriously ill with rheumatism. An excellent program has been arranged for Xmas. Those wishing wish-ing a pleasant time had better join us in celebrating. Elders' Conference convened here Dec. 19th. Bros. Brunson and Beckstrand of the stake presiucucy, vveie present. j |
