At a meeting of the Commercial Commer-cial Club on the ;!rd of January, it was decided to call a mass meeting of the beet growers who had signed up acreage with the Southern Utah Sugar Co., to get their sentiments as to their future fut-ure disposition relative to the company and the possibilities ol its putting in a factory here. The immediate occasion for the meeting was caused by an announcement of the officials of ' the Utah-Idaho Co., that all who were to raise beets for them the coming season must sign up by dan. 15th to secure the benefit of a special freight rate to the factory at Payson. This announcement an-nouncement was to the effect that all who signed up by the loth would receive the same price as paid at the factory.
