Show Deseret Vard Primary Students Given Party In Honor of Thanksgiving this Past Tuesday -r; .V-V !u A-t-W . - V-' On Tuesday, Nov. 19th, a thanksgiving thanks-giving dinner was given to the children of the Deseret Primary. Preceding the dinner, the Primary sang several songs, followed by a picture of the Primary taken by Mr. Beckwith. President Myrle C. Bennett presided, pre-sided, with Second Councelor Raye R. Jensen conducting. Prayer was offered by Bishop J. A. Bennett. Gordon Dewsnup acted as Master of Ceremonies, presenting the following fol-lowing program: Poem Max Jensen. Jokes Wayne Western. Poem Kent Dewsnup. Song Ina Rae Damron and Janice Western. Story Ro-Ella Ro-Ella Robison. Story the Lark Class. Remarks Bishop J. A. Ben-' Ben-' nett. Pioneer doll was displayed by President Myrle C. Bennett. She praised the Primary for their 100 attendance at this time. Song the Lark Class. Appreciation to officers of-ficers and teachers and those participating par-ticipating on the program by Gordon Gor-don Dewsnup, our Master of Ceremonies. Cere-monies. Remarks Raye R. Jensen, Jen-sen, with thanks to all helping to make this Thanksgiving dinner a big success. Special visitors were Primary Stake Board members, Sister Lu-cile Lu-cile R. Hales, and Sister Blanche Crafts, and Bishop J. A. Bennett, and his councelor, Brother Ormus Dutson. Officers and teachers present were: President Myrle C. Bennett, first councelor, Inez W. Damron, second councelor, Raye R. Jensen, secretary Luella S. Western, choris-tor choris-tor Ethel A. Western, and teachers Verle W. Damron, Maesa B. Cropper, Crop-per, Alice O. Webb, Vonda B. Moody, Moo-dy, Norma D. Hansen, Enid E. Damron, Dam-ron, Lucile R. Hales, Arprilla D. Scow, and Eunice M. Black. Lucile Lu-cile B. Sampson, being ill, was unable un-able to attend. 100 of the children attended, fifty-five being enrolled at the time. There were eight visitors. |
