Show OAK CITY Mrs. II. Anderson Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis El-lis Anderson entertained in honor of Mrs.. Anderson's sister, Alice Bailey. The guests who were present pres-ent besides Mrs. Bailey, were: Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dutson, Mr. and - Mrs. Don Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Roper, Lemira Dutson, Es-dras Es-dras Finlinson and Ethel Mathews. Rook was played, at which Ethel Mathews held high score, Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Alice Anderson made a trip to Provo last week. Other Salt Lake visitors last week were Mr. and Mrs. Jos. L. Finlinson Fin-linson and Mr. and Mrs. James Anderson. And-erson. Those, from here, who attended the luneral of little Kenneth Webb, of Deseret, were Macel Anderson, Mrs. Alice Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Roper, Ethel Mathews, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dutson, Lafe Olson, grandfather of the child, Jennie Olson, Arthur and Wilburn Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Talbot, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Elder and Mrs. Emma Talbot. Mrs. Blanchard, of Salmon, Idaho, Ida-ho, arrived here last Thursday and is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Donna Anderson. Mr. Powell, of Salt Lake City, was here last week, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edith Anderson. Ander-son. He has been helping with the remodeling of their home. Oak City people who went on the temple excursion last Friday, were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence East, Mr. and Mrs. I. eland Roper, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Stuart, Ren Lovell, Ellis El-lis Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Jacobson, Mr. and Mrs. Don Anderson And-erson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Harris. Mrs. Martha Anderson and small , daughter, Alene, have returned home, after a two week's visit, in Salt Lake. Mrs. Alice Morrey Bailey, of Salt Lake, visited here several days, with her sister, Mrs. Macel Ander- son. Salt Lake visitors last week were Mrs. Alta Alldredge and her daughters, daugh-ters, Faye and Margaret. Saturday evening, the Mutual officers gave a party, for the retiring re-tiring officers. The entertainment was held in the amusement hall, where games were played and refreshments, re-freshments, consisting of ice cream and pie, were served.' Mrs. Caddie Lovell has returned home from Caliente, Nevada, where she has been visiting, for the past three weeks, with her daughter, Mrs. Wilma Roberts. Mrs. Florence Jones has returned return-ed home, after visiting the past two weeks, in Salt Lake and Heber .. City, with her son and daughter, . James Heggessy and Mrs. Addie j Moulton. The Junior Girls and Explorers held their "Fireside Chat" Sunday evening at the home of Betsy Ann East. Dean Anderson was the speaker. A good crowd attended. The M Men and Gleanor Girls ' held their "Fireside Chat" Sunday evening, in the Relief Society hall, Bishop Marvin Lovell was the speaker. The speakers at the Sunday evening ev-ening services were; Peter Nielson and Ray Finlinson. |
