Show Gift Shop and Book Store Opens Monday, Dec. 2 The Kolob, a gift shop and book store, will open in Delta on Monday, Mon-day, Dec. 2, operated by Easton Sampson, and his brother, Merlin Sampson. The Kolob has the location lo-cation on Clark Street formerly occupied oc-cupied by the sport shop run by Bob Robinson, and in addition to the line of sporting goods, the new business will handle gift items, and books. The Sampsn brothers are remodelling remod-elling and redecorating for the opening, op-ening, and the Kolob will be similar simi-lar to a store of the same that they already have established in Oakland. Oak-land. After opening, Merlin Sampson Samp-son will remain in Delta in charge of the store, and Mr. and Mrs. Easton East-on Sampson, who are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Sampson, Samp-son, are returning to Oakland, where Easton will resume his studies stud-ies at Eerkeley. Mrs. Dorothy Melville, of Fillmore, Fill-more, is at the hospital in Delta, where she underwent an operation opera-tion on Tuesday for an appendectomy. |
