Larry Moody, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Moody, received second degree burns about the neck and head, when a cotton mask he was wearing, on Hallowe'en, caught fire from a lighted candle. Mrs. Enid Damron's class in Primary, Pri-mary, had a Hallowe'en party, at Kav' Moody's, on Thursday. Mr. Cloyd Bennett and Mr. Blaine Cahoon, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ne-vada, spent three days of pheasant season, with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Eennett. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Patterson, of Seattle, Washington, are visiting with Mrs. Paterson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Western. Miss Beth Moody went to Provo for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. William B. Mace, from Fillmore, spent Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewsnup. Blanche Jensen spent a few days in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Torrence, of Orem, Utah, spent the pheasant season with Mrs. Torrence's mother, moth-er, Mrs. Zada Dewsnup. Hulda Dewsnup spent the week end in Salt Lake City and Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dewsnup and Mrs. and Mrs. LaMarr Dewsnup, spent the last week in Salt Lake and Provo. Beulah P.owley went to Salt Lake Tuesday, to attend the wedding of I her brother, Calvin Webb. Mr. and Mrs. LaMarr Dewsnup have bought the John Bennett home and are moving in to it this week. Hay Moody, from Salt Lake City, is visiting his mother, Mrs. Effie Moody, and sister, Norma. Maud and Carma Johnson, spent the week end at Springville, visiting visit-ing Mr. and Mrs. La Cont Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Western went to Salt Lake, Monday, to attend a farewell for heir nephew, Sheldon Baker, who is leaving on a mission Ray and Ethel Western went to Tooele, to attend a funeral for Mrs. Western's brother, Frank Allen. Mrs. Blaine Cropper and daughter, daugh-ter, is spending a few days at Fillmore, Fill-more, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stevens. Mr. and Mrs. Milden Scow and, son, Darrel is spending the week , end at Salt Lake City. Mrs. Homer Jensen and daugh-' daugh-' ter, are visiting at Salt Lake City; with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Vic-tor Roberts. Rulon D. Bennett, Harold Western, West-ern, Melba Western and Margie ' Jensen and Mavis Dewsnup, from Provo, spent the week end at Des-( Des-( eret. Carma Johnson is visiting with her grandmother, Maud Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Max V. Eliason, ol Salt Lake City, visited several day; with Max's parents, Mr. and Mrs E. J. Eliason.
