Show DESERET . . . Phone your news on Tuesday to Arprilla Scow The B & K Club held their meeting meet-ing Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Zella Moody. A book report was given after which luncheon lun-cheon was served to the following members: Mollie Dewsnup, Nora Petty, Myrle Bennett, Stella Black, Rose Dewsnup, and Zella Moody. Guests were Lucy Cahoon and Mae Schoenberger. Mrs. Carole Warnick entertained at a Rook party Wednesday evening. eve-ning. A lunch was served and the rest of the evening was spent in playing rook. Those present were: Lucille Sampson, Arprilla Scow, Beth Moody, Melvola Russell, Lottie Lot-tie Black, Lillian Pippin, Evelyn Cropper, and Corole Warnick. High prize was won by Beth Moody and low by Lottie Black. Mrs. E. J. Eliason returned home Tuesday after having spent the past few days in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Stanley Chynoweth and son, Tommy, from Magna, visited over the weekend with her parents, M-S M-S Elmer Dewsnup. The Deseret Relief Society held their conference Sunday night. A very fine program was given. Music Mus-ic was furnished by the Singing Mothers. Mrs. Ava Starley from Delta represented the Stake Board. M-S Leslie Black from Ogden are visiting with Leslie's mother, Mrs. Adah Black, and also with relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Arlean Bennett is in Salt Lake City where she will receive medical attention. The Deseret Primary is newly organized or-ganized with the following officers Beatrice Erickson, president; Von-da Von-da Moody, 1st Counselor: Fern Warner, 2nd Counselor; Lucille Hales, secretary and treasurer. Also Al-so a full set of teachers so it will be a very successful Primary year. M-S Paul Ekins and Mrs. Mable Theobald spent the weekend in Salt Lake City. They went up to see Newell Dewsnup who is in the hospital there. Mrs. Phyllis Mae Munster is visiting vis-iting at Deseret with her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Carrie Christensen. |
