Show 1st William Fred Banks, now located lo-cated in the South Pacific, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks, has been promoted to Captain. He enlisted en-listed in 1941 after graduating from the Utah Agricultural College. He is also a graduate of the Delta High School and the BAC. He received re-ceived his commission at Fort Benning, Ben-ning, Ga., in 1942. Capt. Banks has been in the South Pacific since November 1942. Ted Harris has sent us six films and the developing solutions for the new Ansco color film. We want lo thank Ted for this, and will try to get some good pictures from them, Maclyn Abbott, airplane engineer, engin-eer, who lias been in training in Florida, was in Hinckley Saturday and Sunday. He was transferred to Massachusetts. Floyd Teeples, a Marine writes his mother that he has been transferred trans-ferred to Honolulu. He had formerly for-merly been at San Diego, where ho received his training. He writes that he enjoys the Chronicle, even , if delivery is at times somewhat uncertain, and that news of other men in service is of interest to him and others,and eagerly read, I |
