Show Amos Peterson Dies After Long Illness ! Amos J. Peterson of Oasis died at the Veterans' Hospital in Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 26, after af-ter a lingering illness of five "years. He was well known in Delta, as he ran a cafe here until his health required re-quired that he give it up. Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed by the American Legion in the Oasis Ward Chapel, probably on Saturday, though definite arrangements arrange-ments were not possible up to the time we went to press. Amos J. Peterson was born in Deseret, August 9, 1886, a son of Peter and Sina Christenson Peterson. Peter-son. He had spent practically all his life in this region. He was a veteran of World War I.. He is survived by three brothers and three sisters: Peter A. Peterson, Peter-son, and Annie Skeem of Oasis; Hulda Anderson, Oak City; H. W. Peterson, Red Mountain, Cal.; Al-ford Al-ford Peterson, Oasis; Minnie Stub-berd, Stub-berd, Ruth, Nevada. ' |
