Show Oasis Mr La Veda Bishop Mrs. Peter M. Anderson served a turkey dinner in honor of her husband's birthday May 20. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Pet , erson and family from Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank O'Brien and family from Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Lars Hansen of Salt Lake City came down for Memorial Day. They returned to Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bishop from Salt Lake City spent Memorial day in Oasis. From here they went on to Milford to attend funeral services for their sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Peterson from Ogden spent last Wednesday in j Oasis. I Mrs. Telia Strang and children from Salt Lake City spent Mem-, orial Day in Oasis. Mrs. June Roundy from Provo, spent last Tuesday night with Lil-lian Lil-lian Roundy. Last Friday the Day women folk declared a holiday and took to the highway. Beth and Ula from Oasis and Betty from Delta. Xhey spent the day in Provo and had a bane up time. They resolved to do ft more often. So heres- a varnmR to Leo, Don, and G.u, oelter treat those gals with proper respect as they know the road now. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Williams spent Memorial Day in Tooele They brought Shirley Williams back with them. She will stay here a while. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Harms, from Salt Lake City spent Memorial day in Oasis. Mrs. Harms is the former Mrs. Fae Huff. Mrs. Hannah Huff returned to Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs Boyd Harms and will visit there! Joyce Huff and Elaine Stewart went to Salt Lake City after the close of school and are now ployed there. Howard Roundy was in Tuesday with a load of bees, and is returning return-ing to California Thursday. |
