Show SUTHERLAND.... Mr. Grant Bishop and Mrs. Fer-rell Fer-rell Walker went to Salt Lake City on Saturday to see the basketball game and to see Mr. Bishop's father fath-er who is in the hospital. They returned re-turned from Salt Lake on Saturday Satur-day night. Mr. Bishop returned to Salt Lake to get his father on Monday. Mr. Morgan May, Richard May, Ora Mae Bishop, and Duane Erick-son Erick-son went to Cedar City on Monday. Mon-day. Richard and Duane plan to go to school at the BAC. Mrs. Emoret Boshell and her dau ghter, Catherine, came from Oklahoma Okla-homa early Sunday morning to vis it her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Skidmore. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Fowles and Mr. and Mrs. El Fowles went to Salt Lake on Wednesday to shop and returned Wednesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jensen went to Salt Lake City on Friday to see the doctor. Mr. Mel Church came from Tooele Too-ele on Saturday to stay. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Ogden of Salt Lake came to visit Mr. A. M. Ogden, who is seriously ill at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivo Ogden. The Relief Society gave the program on Sunday evening. Pres. Lizette Erickson presided and Tan-etta Tan-etta Sorensen conducted. Speakers were Marie Moody and Alta Ashby. Scriptural quotations were read by Irene Brumley, Trula Abbott, Lena Steele, Vivian Ekins and Eleanor Skidmore. Golden and Deon Erickson Erick-son gave a musical reading and the Singing Mothers gave two num bers. One song, "If Ye Love Me, Keep My Commandments" was the theme of the meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Deem went to Brigham City on Friday afternoon after-noon and returned Monday night. Mr. Jack Fowles came down from Salt Lake Saturday to bring some cattle down and returned on Sunday. He came back again on Monday to bring some more cattle down and returned on Monday Mon-day night. On Monday Bert Johnson went to Salina after some coal. He re turned the same day. Then he left again Tuesday and returned Tuesday. Tues-day. Keith Sanford and Carl Corry left Friday night to Texas to join the Air Force. |
