Mrs. Carrie Jensen from California Califor-nia is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Richard left Mon- i day at 5 a. m. for New York where I he will catch his boat from there to England. Stanley leaves Wed- nesday for the East Central Mis- ! sion. ; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Carter from ; Oregon visited Sunday at the home j of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Black and Therza Webb made a trip to Salt Lake Monday. Mr. Black is staying stay-ing there for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Western spent Sunday at Fillmore. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Western, Or-vil Or-vil Western and Leslie Western at tended the Palmer reunion in Salt Lake City last week. All of Mrs. Western's brothers and sisters were there and a real get together was held. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Coleman returned re-turned to their home in California. Their daughter Patty is staying here in Deseret for two weeks. Mrs. Mae De Hart is visiting a ! few weeks in Deseret. Mr. Blaine Cahoon from Las Vegas visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Ben-net. Ben-net. The Deseret Garden Club met Wednesday afternoon at the home , of Mrs. A. T. Black. Mrs. Betsy j Skeem and Mrs Erma Styler were the guest speakers. They gave us some very valuable information on the planting and caring for lawns, iris, evergreens and dahlias. Refreshments were served by , hostess Inga Black and Ava Ben nett. 14 ladies were present. |
