Show I7os3E IReSegaSes At Girls' State Miss Vema Davis, Hinckley high school junior, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Davis, made the fourth delegate from west Millard to go to Girls' State at Logan, from June 25 through July 2. She is psonsored by the Auxiliary of American Legion Post 117 and the Hinckley clubs. Other delegates are Anna Lou Dewsnup from Auxiliary Post 177, and Darlene McCullough and Wan da Billings, from the Auxiliary of Post 89. Girls' State has 130 high school girls in attendance, where they are receiving first-hand information informa-tion in state and municipal government. gov-ernment. Elections have ben held there in mythical cities and the girls are govrning themselves. Miss McCullough was elected a commissioner com-missioner of Mabey City. |
