Show Oasis Mr La Veda Bishop Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Skeem, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Skeem and Mrs. Betsy Skeem left Monday for a ten-day trip in Arizona, New Mexico Mex-ico California and Old Mexico. Mrs. Inez Wiley of Lynndyl is stay, ing at the Ralph Skeem home looking after the twins. Wash Roundy left Tuesday to take a load of bees to California, and will return Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Martin spent New Year's Eve at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Nichols. The young couple had been in California and stopped to see how the little New Year looked look-ed in Oasis before going on to their home in Salt Lake City. ' Mr. and Mrs. Gus Lundskog and three children, Parley, Gay and Afton from Murray, visited Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Gillen on New Year's Day. Mrs. Lundskog is a sister of Mr. Gillen. Russell Styler drove to Salt Lake City- last week to take his sister, Nella, "back to school after the holidays. Miss Styler is studying at the LDS business college. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hawley took their mother, Mrs. Zona Hawley, Haw-ley, to Provo last weekend for medical care and returned Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. Wash Roundy entertained en-tertained a group of 18 friends at dinner and Rook on New Year's eve. |
