Show Lions, JayCee's I Will Meet In Donkey Soft Ball I Eleven Live Donkeys together I with two groups of Business Men will make their appearance on the ! local Ball Diamond to bat it out in one of the funniest, most hilarious games ever to be featured here. The team in the field will be mounted on Rockie Mountain Canaries Can-aries with the exception of the pitcher, pit-cher, and catcher. The Pitcher will be confined to a 45' run-way. The Catcher in a ten foot circle. The in-fielders must ride to the ball, dismount, pick up the ball without losing contact with his donkey and re-mount before be-fore throwing the ball. The outfielders must do like-wise but may throw the ball standing on the ground. The Batter bats the ball standing stand-ing on the ground no balls or strikes If he can't hit it, he will be given a scoop-shovel. After batting bat-ting a fair ball, he will attempt to mount the donkey that is waiting for him. If he happens to be lucky enough to come up against Smoo-thy, Smoo-thy, he has a pretty good chance of arriving at first base with his mount But! If his mount happens hap-pens to be Spit-fire or Little Dynamite Dy-namite .... look out! He is apt to find his fiery steed waiting for him at second-base. (After he has had time to pick himself up). The donkevs must put one foot inside the five foot lime circle to be determined safe ' The Tentative Line-Up Is As Follows For Your Mounts. Clayton Stapley, Captain. John Starley, Right Field, riding Jack Paul Adams, Center Field, riding Skeeter. Base runners will come up a-gainst a-gainst Smoothy, Little Dynamite, Doubtful and Spit-fire. Also "Little Sweet Pea" is a substitute runner run-ner and it is the opinion of the owners that she will weigh about fifty pounds when she arrives here, and should give her escort quite a time as he carries her around the bases. Besides the above line-up other players will be: Vert Barney, Dick Wind, Walter Wright, Marvin Ogden, Evan Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Dewey Sanford, Jim Johnson, John-son, Quin Shepherd, Eldon Eliason, and Homer Petersen. The Lions have issued a challenge chal-lenge to the JayCee's, who are entering en-tering a group of rough-riders in the fracas, determined to make it a tough game on Lions and donkeys don-keys both. In training and toughening tough-ening up are Bud Huff, Red Van, Reed Turner, Dick Peterson, Reed Wood, Ray Church, Max Robinson, Bill Bishop, Ed Lyman, Lee Sanderson, Sander-son, Eldon Jerisen and Roy Steele. |
