Show Home Wedding j Unites Couple ' Mr. and Mrs. Lee Talbot, of Sutherland, announce the wedding of their daughter, Afton Madia Talbot, Tal-bot, to Clifford Earl Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Peterson, o Abraham, on Monday, August 2, at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Thora Petersen ,of Hinckley. President Harold R. Morris performed per-formed the ceremony, with the bride being given away by her father, Lee Talbot. The bridegroom's bride-groom's brother, Harold Petersen, was best man and Betty Bunker acted as Maid of honor, with Mrs. Thora Petersen as matron of, honor. hon-or. Bridesmaids included Beth Bunker, Bun-ker, Ila Talbot, Viola Talbot, Lola Wright, Elaine Talbot and Jenny Olson. The house was profusely decorated decor-ated with summer flowers, making a beautiful background for the wedding. The bride's bouquet was of red roses and white lilies. Each . bridesmaid had a similar bouquet, 1 and corsages and boutonnaires were worn by members of the two families. The bride's gown was of traditional tra-ditional white satin with a long train, sleeves of full length, with the cuff tapering over the hand. K had a full skirt enhanced by a Peplin. Following the wedding, a reception recep-tion was held in the Open Air dance hall for the young couple. where many friends congratulated the young groom and gave best wishes ot the newlyweds. i Master of ceremonies was Mr. j Vaughan Paxman, of Nephi, with the program consisting of: a piano s"lo, Viola Talbot, with vocal ren- ditions being made by Lola Wright and Ladd Cropper, accompanied by May G. Cropper; a reading, given V LaVeil Johnson and a song by E'ai..e Talbot. The young couple are now honeymooning, hon-eymooning, and will make their borne in California. 1 |
