Show WESEItET Mrs. Lucile Sampson Mr. and Mrs. Newell Cahoon and daughter, Caroline, from Logan, spent decoration day here, with Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Cahoon. Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Cahoon and Miss Mar-lena Mar-lena Carling accompanied them on a trip to Utah Southern Parks. They plan to stay five days. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Dorton and Neva Cropper and Mrs. Ellen Cropper, Crop-per, from Salt Lake City, spent the weekend in Deseret. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Parsons and family, from Salina, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Marion Black. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Allred, from Provo, spent Decoration Day in Deseret. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Western, from Salt Lake City, are spending a few days in Deseret. Jane Mace, from Fillmore, spent a few days last week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewsnup. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Black and son, Robert, from Ogden, Utah, spent the weekend at Deseret, visiting vis-iting friends and relatives. Grant Western, from Ogden, spent the weekend with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Western. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Allred, from Oak City, spent Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allred. All-red. Mr. and Mrs. Harm Dewsnup and daughter, Anna Lou, made a trip to Provo, for their daughter, Mavis' Mav-is' graduation from the BYU. Mavis is graduating with high honors in Home Economics. Four out of five Professors voted her high honors. One Professor wrote her parents, complimenting them on their daughter's achievement. We all with to congratulate Mavis. Miss Genevieve Eliason is home, after teaching school at Spanish Fork. Mrs. Porsha Jensen and children and Mrs. Loa Hansen, spent Sunday, Sun-day, at the home of Mrs. Norma Hansen. Mrs. Mae Petty and daughter, of Nephi, spent Monday and Tuesday, with ohn Bennett and other relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. LaMarr Brunson, and family, from Fillmore, spent Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Western. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Leone Croft, spent Sunday in Richfiedl. Mr. and Mrs. Leone Jackson and Mr. Henry Jackson and Mrs. Lola Bishop, from Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dee Bennett, were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Bennett. A surprise party was given on Tuesday evening at the home of Inga Black for the retiring Presidency Presi-dency of the Primary; who are: President, Myrle Bennett, and counselors coun-selors Inez Damron and Winona Dutson. Games were played and a lovely lunch was served by Inga Black, Vonda Moody, Eunice Black and Therza Webb. Others who were present were: Carole Warnick. FH- na Torrens, Lucile Sampson, Lucile Lu-cile Hales, Beth Moody, Blanche Jensen. Matilda Hales and Mrs. John Bennett are both ill this week. We wish them a speedy recovery. Jay and Tra Lee Cropper, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Cuman Cropper, underwent Tonsil operations, on Tuesday, at the Delta hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Mace and daughter, Marlyn, went to Hannah, Utah, to visit Mrs. Mace's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilcken. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewsnup and Henry Kent, are spending a few days in Salt Lake City. |
