Show Country CIfit! HoSds Meeting The Country Club met Monday night, with Mrs. June Reid as hostess. host-ess. Present were Dorothy Steele, Vi Mortensen, Lois Maxfield, Rayda Knight, Lois Hinckley, Beulah Bas-sett, Bas-sett, Dora Munster, Verna Shepherd, Shep-herd, Ann Hales, LaPriel Morten-sen Morten-sen and Eleanor Roberts. Dinner was seFved, and bridge played later, at which high scores were held by Mrs. Beulah Bassett and Mrs. Maxfield, and Mrs. Munster held low. Don Pratt, from the U. of U., was home for the weekend, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pratt, and returned to the University, where he is attending summer school. His mother, Mrs. Pratt, went to Salt Lake City with him for a short visit. Don will finish summer school and then prepare to go to Sweden in September, on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of j Latter-day Saints E. L. Lyman, and son, Edwin A., Frank, and Melvin, from the U. of U. medical school, made a trip in Wayne County over the week-' end, for the opening of the fishing season. |
