Show DESEI&ET Mrs. Lucile Sampson Mr LaVon Black and boys, David and Bill, are visiting here for a-while, a-while, from Ontario, California. His daughter, Mrs. Bettie Kelly, was operated on at the L. D. S. hospital hos-pital Monday and is doing fine. LaVon La-Von and boys came to spend a few days while she was in the hospital hos-pital and visited her there. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dewsnup and Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Eliason, left Tuesday, in company with sixty-five sixty-five Utahns, for a tour of the East and Canada. They are planning to be gone three weeks. Mr. and Mrs Ormus L. Dutson and family, spent a few days at Colton, California. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leben, Mr. and Mrs. M. Meinte, from Eastern Colorado, visited three days with Mr., and Mrs. Bill Crafts. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Cropper and son, Mario, spent the Strawberry celebration at Pleasant Grove. Matt won first place in the finals for calf roping. Mrs. Angie Warner and son, of Ogden, are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs Cecil Warner. Mrs. Lucile Sampson spent a few days in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Crafts made a trip to Provo last week. Mrs. Loa Hansen, from Fillmore, spent Sunday with Mrs. Norma Hansen and girls. Carolyn Davis, from Hinckley, is spending, a week with Mr. and Mrs. Verd Davis and family. ' Mr. and Mrs. Jess Western, from Salt Lake City, are visiting in Des-eret. Des-eret. Mrs. Western is recovering from a broken foot The Bluebird girls in Primary and their teacher, Lucile Sampson, went to the Oak City sand hills Monday and had a weiner roast, later returning re-turning to Delta for a swim. The girls had perfect attendence in Primary and so celebrated it by having the party at the sand hills. The Deseret 4-H club boys had a weiner roast at the Deseret Fair Grounds Wednesday. Eleven boys were present. The party was under the supervision of ass't. county agent, Clair Acord. |
