Show Lynndyl , Mrs. Rachel Simpson Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Clark and son returned to Burbank, Calif. Sunday after having spent two weeks visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark and Mrs. Hilda Clark. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Clark and Mrs. Hilda Clark spent the day in Salt Lake visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Home and family. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sim-son Sim-son spent the dav visiting Mr. and Mrs. Elward Clark. Friday evening Miss Janeane Simpson arrived from Salt Lake to spend the weekend with her parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Simpson. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Whatcott of Provo spent the weekend in Oak City and with Mr. and Mrs. Irving Whatcott. Mrs. Effie Allen who has been spending a week in Cedar City with her husband met with an accident and sprained her ankle. She is expected to arrive home Monday. Mrs. Jean Jeffers went to Los Vegas Friday where she will visit friends for a few days and then will go to Los Angeles for a few weeks visit. Mrs. Mary Coon and daughter Judy of Salt Lake were guests at the Jeffers home. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills went to Richfield to hunt pheasant. Mrs. Bill Simpson and Paula spent Friday in Oak City with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Leland Roper. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson, who have recently moved to Provo were here over the weekend. The Primary gave a Hallowe'en party for the children Thursday evening. Many entertaining games were played by the children. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Simpson had as dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sim?son, Mrs. Francis Pfeifer and two sons Raymorf and Neil, Mrs. Roley Larsen of Nephi, and Janeane Simpson and Family. Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Roper spent Friday in Oak City and Delta Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Harlen Neilsen and children moved to Provo this week where Mr. Neilsen is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Oarlyle Gronning & children of Milford are here visiting visit-ing wth Mr. and Mrs. Myron Vest and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Gronning. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Stewart of Oak City went to Salt Lake Tuesday Tues-day shopping. The teachers and school children gave a spook party Friday afternoon after-noon at the school. Many interesting inter-esting and spooky pranks were played and light refreshments were enjoyed by all the grades. Mr. Norman Johnsen of Salt Lake visited over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnsen and Tillman, who came from Cedar City to join the hunt. Wednesday Mrs. Leland Roper and Mrs. Theo Stewart and daught er spent the day visiting Mrs. Nada Simpson and Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Gray-son Roper. Mr. and Mrs. Brant Wall were here over the week end. visiting Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mc Cardel Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Smith and small daughter, Emily Ann were guest at the home of John's parents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith. Miss Louise Wily of Springville, who is visiting here with her grand mother, Mrs. Sara Ann Wily, spent a few days in Delta with Anna Ivie and her many friends. Mr. and Mrs. Therto Wily and son, Gery, spent Sunday visiting in Oasis with Mrs. Wily's mother. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Freer have guests from Salt Lake, who are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mallet. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Ogden of Provo visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mc Cardel. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Rosenbaum and daughter Cathy left for Calif. Friday where they will make their home. Miss Colleen Neilson land afriend visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ray Neilson. Mr. and Mrs. Dan McKellar and children of Magna visited Mr. and Mrs. John Talbott. Clyde Coleman is home for a few days. Mrs. Allen Vest spent a few days in Salt Lake with her husband. hus-band. A state meeting honoring the ladies who contributed to the new church building in Salt Lake. ' There were fourteen ladies from Lynndyl there. A very interesting day was enjoyed. Sunday Bishop Clead Neilsen and Earl Greathouse were up in the air with Ralph Siple and his plane. |
