Miss Cragun Is a popular young lady of tho Second ward and has been a successful school teacher In our city for a number of years. Mr. Winn Is also a prominent cltl-zon cltl-zon of our community. Upon reaching reach-ing homo last ovonlng they wero met nt tho dopot by a number of their frlonds and showered with rlco. A shower was given Miss Cragun Monday Mon-day evening at tho homo of her parents, par-ents, by about seventy of her frlonds and she received many beautiful presents. pre-sents. Tho rooms wero decorated with red and whlto carnations. Tho Benson stake conference was held in tho First ward Saturday and Sunday. Apostles Georgo A. Smith and James E. Talmago and Elder B. II. Roberts wero In attendance, and gave excellent discourses during tho sessions. Tho First ward choir under tho direction of Prof. Durham of tho B. Y. C. furnished tho music which was much appreciated. Tho attendanco was unusually large. Mayor Joseph J. Richardson left Monday for Roosevelt, Utah, to ship home a' carload of cattlo. Tho Second ward will hold tholr annual reunion Fob. 0.
