Young following a meeting- of the commltteo at tho Commercial club. Th0 Salt Lake convention of tho veterans w.lll bo held Thursday evening, May 1, with the Commeiclal club as meeting place. All men who served with tho army navy or marine corps during tho war abroad or In tho United States, arc urged to be present at tho meeting, which has been called under Instructions Instruc-tions from tho national organization headquarters. Eight delegates to attend the .national convention to bo held In St. Louis May 8, 9, and 10, will bo selected from tlie servlco men present. . v The purposo of the American Lo-gion, Lo-gion, it was announced, among other things, is to bring together on an oqual footing all men of tho service and to keep alive tho association and spirits of brotherly comradeship that has grown up through sorvlco In tho field.
