Show IN HONOR OF I BR1GHAM YOUNG Descendants Come to Lo- H gan on Anniversary H And Hold Reunion at the H Brigham Young College H The Brlgham Young celebration in HH Logan Thursday brought to this city ,HH quite a large number of decendauts of jHHJ the great pioneer leader. The train iHH from Salt Lake city Wednesday even- ,HH lug brought near UK and with these iHH came many friends. :HH The Young family were the guests HH of the Brlgham Young College par HH tlcularly, but the citizens generally HH assisted In entertaining the visitors HH At the station Wednesday evening HH the Brlgham Young College band H greeted the visitors with excellent M music, and In carriages provided the M guests wero driven to various homes H In the city. President Joseph C. H Smith was one of the party, a guest of H honor, and was cared for by President M Joseph Morrcll. M On Thursday morning us many of M the visitors as cared to go were taken M to Logan canyon In cairiages, return- M lug by way of the AgrlculturalCollege, H where a brief visit was made. They H weic then driven to the Brlgham H Young College for lunch. Here the H Domestic Science department of the H big school had prepared a magulliceiit H spread to which no less than 150 mem- H bcrs of the oung family, with friends mM did ample Justice to the substantial H and delicacies set before them. At H this time there were speeches and H toasts, a complete program necessarily H a part of such reunions, and It seemed H highly llttlng that Piesldcnt Young H should be lauded In that great school H which his foresight made possible and H wlilch beats his name. H Following the afternoon's exercises H and Inspection of the Brlgham Yomng H College came a big public meeting In H the tabernacle wheie a program of H consldeiable length and great Interest H was rendered before the audience H which completely Idled the edlllce H There weic musical numbers and H speeches by inembcis of the Young H family and Logan people, and a speech H by Prcs. Joseph l' Smith. The name H of Brlgham Young was exalted and H his many great ttials and deeds H brought before the minds of the peo- H pie.
