Show SUDDEN DEATH OF JOHN T. THAIN JR. TaKen Hi Monday Night Dies Friday Morning. Acute Pneumonia Given as the Cause. i Logan City was shocked Friday morning to learu that Mr .lohn T. Thaln. ,lr member of the Hoard of Education, had died during the early morning hours. Few knew that he was ill, and in fact his Illness was of very short duration. Sunday night he spoke at the Second ward meeting house and on Monday he worked at the fair grounds. Mondav night he was taken down with pneumonia and this ended his life Friday morning at 4:4.r,. Mr. Thaln was 3i years of age at his death and leaves behind him a biokeu hearted wife and four children, three girls and a boy The father .lohn T. Thaln, Is elderly and to him the shock-has shock-has proved severe He was at this office of-fice yesterday morning and with tears In his eyes expressed the wish that It might have been him. The deceased was a faithful Latter-day Saint, having hav-ing performed a mission in Wales just a year or so ago. He was generally regarded as an honest, upright gentleman, gen-tleman, and had many frieuds. The bereft ones have the sincere sympathy of many. The wife before her marriage mar-riage was a Miss Reese, daughter of John Reese, of Benson waid .Thd funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at " o'clock In the Second ward meeting house. |
